To secure the global supply chain for essential minerals and to encourage the participation of Indigenous Peoples and other vulnerable groups, including young women, in the implementation of a” just” energy transition, Australia and the European Union ( EU) are interested in establishing a bilateral strategic partnership.
” Europe and Australia are strategic partners, and we have a longer history along. We have common values and concerns, prominently on the culture, climate change, only transition, and energy security, and we have a typical interest for cooperation”, European Union Energy Commissioner Kadri Simson said following recent intergovernmental meetings with Asian Climate Change and Energy Minister Chris Bowen….
