Authorities said early on Monday night that country music superstar Morgan Wallen has been detained on felony charges after allegedly throwing a couch from a Nashville table.
The incident took place later on Sunday night at Chief’s, a well-known table owned by Eric Church, a brother nation audio star.
According to News Channel 5 Nashville, Wallen, 30, is accused of throwing the head from the bar’s fifth floor just before 11 p.m. citing the arrest record.
The head was reportedly spotted by two Metro Nashville police officers a few feet away from the couple’s table.
The officers were finally informed that the table employees were in charge of the incident. According to the petition, surveillance camera footage allegedly showed Wallen “lunging and throwing an item over the roof”
After doing so, the vocalist- singer apparently laughed, witnesses told officers, according to local television station WKRN.
The multi-award-winning actor was detained shortly after midnight and is facing three felony counts of disorderly conduct and one misdemeanor count of chaotic do.
He was released around 3: 30 a. m. after posting a$ 15, 520 bond, Billboard reported.
Wallen made her first appearance on a music scene in 2014, when she competed on NBC’s” The Voice” for the sixth season. He was dropped from the lineup during the playoffs, but his popularity soared after the launch of his debut album, Stand Alone, in 2015.
In 2023, his second album”, One Point at a Time, “remained atop the all- type Billboard 200 map for 18 quasi- consecutive weeks, tying Garth Brooks ‘” Ropin ‘ the Wind” for the country album with the most weeks at No. 1.
Additionally, he has received 11 Billboard Music Awards, including Best Female Designer in 2023, as well as an Academy of Country Music Award for Best New Artist in 2020.
In addition to his enormously powerful One Night at a Time World Tour, Wallen did play two exhibits at the Nissan Stadium in Nashville on May 2 and 3.
His subsequent court time, even in Nashville, is scheduled for May 3.
