HMP is closely tied to the 501 ( c ) ( 4 ) nonprofit House Majority Forward.
House Majority Forward is not required to disclose its donors or transfer financial data as frequently as an FEC-registered PAC as a nonprofit organization.
For this reason, this type of volunteer is typically called a black money organization.
In the current election cycle, covering 2023 and 2024, HMP has collected about$ 8.3 million in donations from House Majority Forward, according to the FEC.
Additionally, a group affiliated with the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners union has made substantial funds to HMP.
In the current period, the very PAC Working For Working Americans- Federal sent HMP$ 7 million, according to FEC data.
Additionally, HMP is accepting checks from James Simons and Fred Eychaner, Democrats ‘ megadonors.
