Palestinians and the media initially claimed that one of their rockets hit the Al-Ahli Hospital in Gaza, but Israel released a video of an investigation of a Israeli Islamic Jihad standard who admitted to being the victim of an Israeli attack.
The Political Bureau of the Arab Islamic Jihad in the Gaza Strip is represented by Tariq Salami Otha Abu Shlouf, the standard. One of the more than 500 extremists who was detained for two weeks at Shifa Hospital was him.

In a joint statement, the Israel Defense Forces ( IDF) and Israel Security Agency ( ISA, or Shabak, or Shin Bet ) said:
More than 500 terrorist operatives affiliated with terrorist organizations in the Gaza Strip were apprehended during the precise, intelligence-based operation carried out by the IDF and the Israel Security Agency ( ISA ) in the Shifa Hospital. Senior officers and workers who are major sources of information for the evil companies were among the jihadists who were transferred to Device 504 of the Intelligence Directorate and the ISA. Tariq Salami Otha Abu Shlouf, the spokeswoman for the Islamic Jihad extremist group’s Political Bureau in the Gaza Strip, was one of the terrorists detained. His questioning provides information into the advertising and provocation operations carried out by the criminal organizations.
Tariq gave information about the tactics being used by the criminal organizations in the Gaza Strip to sway the Arabic and foreign press, with an emphasis on spreading falsehoods and fabricating information about what is happening in the Gaza Strip. Tariq allegedly used paramedics to transport senior employees of the criminal organizations into and out of the doctor in order to inspire terror and advertising operations from within the Shifa Hospital.
As Breitbart News reported in October, the jet that hit the medical possibly hit its park lot, not the doctor itself, and was a said Palestinian Islamic Jihad jet, not an Israeli airstrike.
