‘ We are making sure that we leave everything to opportunity,’ the RNC co- head said in a Fox News meeting.
Lara Trump, co-chair of the Republican National Committee ( RNC), stated on Sunday that the committee is focused “like a laser” on improving election integrity and that the committee is very concerned about it.
” When you talk about election integrity, it is vital. It is the number one thing that we are focused on, apart from getting out the ballot, which, of course, Donald Trump himself will do for us”, Ms. Trump said.
Because we must comprehend the significance of this election, she continued,” We are making sure that we leave nothing to opportunity.”
” Joe Biden had the largest individual event charity in politics always prior to final day. And he needed three leaders to drag in$ 26 million”, she said, referring to President Biden’s gala in March, which included past presidents Barrack Obama and Bill Clinton.
” We needed one person, Donald J. Trump, one leader, to double that”, Ms. Trump added.
According to Ms. Trump, this charity event’s result reflects a shift in how people are no longer glued to the sidelines.
” They understand what’s at stake. It’s a may- earn election. And from the election morality view, we’re focused on it like a light at the RNC”, she added.
Under a combined- funding deal, funds from the charity function will go to the Trump strategy, the former president’s Save America PAC, the RNC, and state GOP parties.
RNC chair Michael Whatley, who was also present for the interview, said the committee will spend “every dollar” raised on two” critical core” missions: increasing voter turnout and protecting the ballot.
Mr. Whatley said that the RNC is working with state legislatures, boards of elections, and secretaries of state to ensure the implementation of the rules of the road.
According to him, the committee will file lawsuits if the rules are broken, adding that the RNC has filed over 80 lawsuits in 24 states” to ensure that we have the ground ready for safe elections.”
According to Mr. Whatley, the committee has also been training and recruiting thousands of observers and attorneys to ensure that we are present when a vote is cast and counted.
” What we want are fair, accurate, secure, and transparent elections. And when it arrives, we’ll safeguard that ballot’s significance. We’re going to make it easy to vote and hard to cheat”, he added.
President Trump has been routinely outraised by President Biden as a result of rising legal costs and legal payouts from his criminal and civil court cases, so this event is a much-needed boost.
The most money raised in a single political fundraiser in history was raised at this sold-out event. He remarked that President Trump’s policies are being praised for their overwhelming support.
