The total solar eclipse apparently caused animals at a Dallas park to go berserk on Monday, with some running for safety as the sky went black.
” At the Dallas Zoo, giraffes, animals and birds shrieked, squawked and ran for cover as the skies grew darker”, the Daily Mail reported.

” We always know how our pets are going to respond because they are wild,” according to Ann Knutson, a zoological director of animals at the Dallas Zoo.
Gorillas and giraffes were seen fleeing their domestic habitats as the horizon turned black, while birds were heading to their night nests and abruptly “grew quiet.” Animals and birds huddled among themselves.
” Thousands of people flocked to the park on Monday, eager to experience the total solar eclipse at the residence of more than 2, 000 species, or 400 types”, reported the Dallas Morning News.
Most of the creatures had never before experienced an eclipse, according to Lisa Van Slet, associate director of mammals.
