Last week, a little-known national legislation was finalized that was a silent registration by the Biden administration that the deeply entrenched democratic government in the federal government must be protected at all costs.
A law was finalized by the Office of Personnel Management, an executive branch body that regulates the workers that make up the federal government, next week. It is intended to stop any incoming president from reclassifying the hundreds of bureaucrats who work in federal agencies in order to make them more responsible to the democratically elected president.
In response to an executive order signed in the final few months of the Trump presidency that would have classed thousands of federal workers who hold policy positions as political appointees and hold them accountable to the president, the legislation was created.
The leader would have been able to overtake power of a federal government that was contrary to the instructions and policy objectives of a traditional leader through the administrative order, which would have created a new category of federal employment called Schedule F.
Shortly after taking office in January 2021, Biden withdrew the order because Democrats decried the idea as an attack on the “expertise” of the federal workforce and attempted to refute any notion of an unaccountable deep state bureaucracy as a conspiracy theory.
The new regulation, however, merely acknowledges that the executive branch’s bureaucracy is inacquainted with its elected representatives. Federal employee protections have made it nearly impossible to fire incompetent or subordinate federal employees. That may be beneficial for a Democratic president like Biden, who has numerous ideological and political allies among the federal workforce, but for a Republican, like former US president Donald Trump, it will be a major hindrance to the policymaking that the electorate supported.
Russ Vought, the former Office of Management and Budget director and Schedule F’s architect, claims that the regulation could be easily overturned despite the Biden administration’s attempts to prevent government accountability should Trump win the November election.
The Biden administration’s anticipated move to forge accountability for poor performers only serves to reinforce what we already knew: Schedule F rests on a solid legal foundation, will succeed spectacularly, and the only way to stop it is to install procedural roadblocks, Vought, the Center for Renewing America’s president, told me.
” Ultimately these efforts do n’t change anything”, he said. There are actually many rules and regulations that this administration has passed to address the needs of the American people.

In other words, the regulation was useless despite the fact that Biden and his West Wing operatives believed they could guard their mindless army of zombie bureaucrats because they had already admitted to the entire country that the executive branch was only able to appoint a Democratic president.
Once Biden is removed from office in November, we can anticipate the new Trump administration to overthrow that unjustifiable bureaucracy and give the electorate the government and the policies they voted for.
