Following the City Council’s decision last month mandating that ride-sharing firms pay owners a higher rate within town limits, the future of Uber and Lyft in Minneapolis is also uncertain.
The area has since changed its mind about the law because Uber and Lyft have indicated they will cease providing services to the Minneapolis urban area starting on May 1.
