The Senate restaurant was shut down by a group of anti-Israel demonstrators who demanded that Congress support a peace and stop military aid to Israel.

The group of protesters, Catholics for a Free Palestine, was captured on video in the Dirksen Senate Office Building and could be heard singing,” We are Christians for Free Palestine”,” We are here to beg for the meal of Gaza”, and” Our Bible say,’ Woe to you! To have while others go starving,’ and ‘ Woe to you! For there is drought in Gaza.'”

In one film, the protesters are heard saying,” Congress and their staff does not have today.” ” Until Gaza eats”.

The rally comes as the citizens of Gaza mouth large hunger as fighting between Hamas, a U. S. designated Islamic criminal firm, and Israel continues. Places such as Britain, the United States, Egypt, Jordan, and the United Arab Emirates have conducted airstrikes of food into Gaza.

Then: Big group of” Catholics for a Free Palestine” rally in the US Senate cafeteria—pushing Congress to back a peace, restore support to UNRWA, and ending military aid to Israel.

” Congress &amp, their employees may not have today”, they chant. ” Until Gaza eats”.

    U. S. Capitol Police confirmed to Breitbart News that “approximately 50 folks” had been arrested for “illegally demonstrating” in the Dirksen Senate Office Building. The activists were charged with Crowding, Obstructing, or Incommoding under D. C. Code&nbsp, § 22–1307.

” It is illegal to display inside any of the Congressional Buildings”, the U. S. Capitol Police told Breitbart News in a statement.

Before arresting the group of about 50 activists, U. S. Capitol Police apparently shouted and instructed that “everybody” find out “or get placed under arrest”, a source told Fox News.

In response to the arrests, Christians for a Free Palestine posted a statement&nbsp, on X, saying that “peaceful protest and song” calling for a ceasefire” should n’t be met with policing and arrest”.

” Then again, we should n’t have to protest to get genocide to stop in the first place”, the group added.

Peaceful protests and songs calling for the end of a genocide should n’t be followed by police and arrest, but we should n’t have to do so in order to stop it in the first place. # CFPAction pic. twitter.com/YokUasYx2i

Since Hamas launched an attack on Israel on October 7, 2023, anti-Israel rallies have risen. Thousands of Hamas jihadists invaded Israel by land, water, and weather, and about 1, 200 people were left dying, and more than 200 people were taken as victims.

Since October 7, protests have been erupting all over the country and around the world, calling for an ending to Israeli military support. Former U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was berated by pro-Palestine protesters who yelled that she should” stop holding donations for genocide” at the beginning of April.

President Joe Biden pleaded with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on April 4 to set up an “immediate ceasefire,” and threatened Israel with losing American support if it did n’t abide by the agreement. Hamas had demanded a ceasefire before any other victims ‘ release, both before and during a hostage negotiation discussion in Doha, Qatar, at the end of March.
