On Monday, President Joe Biden ran a campaign in swing-state Wisconsin to promote his most recent student loan rescue, a multimillion dollar bribe that gives the Supreme Court a shaky middle finger.  ,
No remarkably, the Democrat’s friends in the companion media regurgitated White House talking points on Biden’s Plan B mortgage- and interest- forgiveness initiative without mentioning the cost to national debt- burdened U. S. taxpayers.  ,
According to Wisconsin Public Radio:  ,
People who are now ready for some federal student loan forgiveness programs would be able to pay off their debt under the proposed plan. People who began making payments on academic money more than 20 years ago, or doctoral money more than 25 years ago, would also be forgiven for their debts.
The program would remove all accrued interest for 23 million people and reduce 4 million people’s loan, according to a media release.
The federally funded public radio station did n’t bother with details like the cost to taxpayers. The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel did not participate in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel‘s advertisement for Biden’s new rescue. The New York Times at least acknowledged that while serving as the water carrier under the Biden administration, “officials did not disclose the anticipated cost of the new plan, but critics have claimed that it would cause inflation and add to the national debt by billions of dollars.”
How could it not? According to The New York Post, Biden’s most recent bribe might be as unconstitutional as his most recently unsuccessful student loan forgiveness program, which is worth$ 400 billion in.  ,
Who will pay to reduce the amount of student loan debt for 23 million loans? The total rescue of 4 million Americans? 10 million college loan holders have debts of$ 5, 000 or better ( more than$ 50 billion on that account alone )?  ,
Citizens. Citizens who owe student loans. Taxpayers who do n’t have student loans. Taxpayers of all kinds, especially coming taxpayers. This loan forgiveness program will be borne by yesterday’s customers and future generations unless Biden and Congress suddenly wake up and started drastically cutting government plans to deal with a$ 34.6 trillion debt that is fast rising.  ,
Biden addressed a group of liberals gathering in a school at Madison Area Technical College in Wisconsin’s money town,” We’re giving citizens a chance to make it.” If the Democrat wants to win Wisconsin, a crucial battleground he won by a razor-thin ratio in 2020, he will need to move up large vote totals once more in the big-government area and left-heavy Dane County.  ,
In a 15-minute muttering speech as a historical solar eclipse darkened large swathes of the world’s skies, Biden said,” Now, too many Americans — especially young people— are saddled with unsustainable debts… in trade for college.” An ominous signal?  ,
‘ National Do- Over’
You did n’t need special glasses to see that Biden’s bailout, coming less than seven months before the presidential election, is designed to help bailout the octogenarian’s slumping poll numbers.
Biden and former president Donald Trump are currently in a dead heat regionally according to the most current RealClearPolitics polling.com/polls/president/general/2024#!” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>average of polls. According to a Wall Street Journal surveys, Trump leads Biden in six of the seven jump states, which have a major influence on who will win the White House in 2020. Biden leads merely in Wisconsin, by 3 percentage points, according to the ballot. Trump leads by as much as 8 positions in North Carolina, and as few as 2 positions in Michigan.  ,
” Biden wants to use your tax dollars to buy vote because , more and more youthful people , are supporting President Trump”, Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Whatley said in a statement. Biden’s Wisconsin excursion was dubbed the Bankrupting American Tour, according to him.  ,
” Biden’s student mortgage loan for the wealthy was already , struck down , by the Supreme Court and his plans are driving , traditional cpi”, Whatley added.  ,
Truly. In the summer of 2022, weeks before the midterm elections, Biden’s prior$ 400 billion student loan bailout get aimed at 43 million borrowers was made public. His administrative stablecoins was overturned by the Supreme Court, which ruled that it was unlawful. Since then, Biden has squirmed his political ink and rubbed down smaller amounts of student loan balances.  ,
The Times called it a “presidential accomplish- over”. That’s not a thing. At least it does n’t appear to be a legal thing.  ,
Next month, Kansas led 11 claims in a complaint against Biden’s therefore- called SAVE Plan, which has canceled funding for more than 150, 000 consumers, according to the White House. The president has allegedly overstepped his authority and defied the Supreme Court once more.  ,
The Biden administration was sued by the Job Creators Network Foundation over its high court rejection of its debt cancellation initiative. The lawsuit, filed in Texas federal court, blocked the bailout at the district level and halted the application process, “allowing the legal challenge to go to the Supreme Court”, according to the conservative advocacy organization.  ,
‘ A Blank Check ‘
Elaine Parker, president of the Job Creators Network, said Biden’s latest bailout suffers from the same fundamental problems. It illegally defies Congress and does nothing to hold the nation’s colleges and universities accountable for creating the mess through exorbitant higher education costs.  ,
Every time this administration forgives more loans, Parker said to me on” The Vicki McKenna Show” on Monday afternoon,” In fact, it’s a blank check to these universities telling them to keep raising their tuition like they have been and overcharging these students.”
Biden’s boss, President Barack Obama, drove the massive federal takeover of the student loan program that has proved so costly.  , Former U. S. Rep. John J. Faso laid out the Obama- inflicted wound in September 2022.  ,
The New York Republican made the observation that Obama advocated for student loan control as part of the legislation that created Obamacare, the Affordable Care Act, in 2010. Another illustration of why you should n’t pass a bill” so you can find out what’s in it”
” At that time, Obama proclaimed that by cutting out the’ middleman’, taxpayers would save$ 68 billion. Federal government would no longer underwrite student loans, and banks would no longer lend directly to students, according to Faso. ” Every one of Obama’s promises turned out to be untrue. The program did n’t save any money. Loan defaults increased. Higher tuition and fees increased more quickly, and student debt increased exponentially. Today’s student loan mess was caused largely by Obama’s failed program”.
As he tried to end the Supreme Court case, Biden undoubtedly had hoped that the “folks” in swing-state Wisconsin, who were owed student loans, would pay their taxpayer-funded generosity with their votes in November. The White says the new program could take effect “early this fall”, or not long before the election, the the New York Post reported. Impeccable timing.  ,
According to Parker, Congress last year passed bipartisan legislation that blocked Biden’s student loan bailouts by executive fiat. Biden vetoed it. She claimed that the Senate is unable to implement other reforms.  ,
Senate Democrats do not want to bring it up and discuss anything even slightly related to solutions because they are in an election year and their goal is to buy these votes, she said.  ,
Elaine Parker of the Job Creators Network Foundation speaks in full about the interview.  ,
