The Albanese government’s latest attempt to avoid being held responsible for the cost-of-living issue is Craig Emerson’s Interim Report of the Review of the Grocery Code of Conduct, which was released last year.
Australia is 18 months away from the most recent federal election, therefore expect a lot more shifting of blame, maybe nothing as immoral as this one.
For more than a year, the state and several Green/Left friends have been complaining about the “price gouging” of the supermarkets.
This is an absurd state because Coles and Woollies only make about 2.5 cents for every penny of property sold. How would you resolve it, though, if it were real?
