As soaring prices continue to hurt the most economically vulnerable Americans, discount store Dollar Tree announced it will increase the price cap on things at dozens of its stores nationwide to$ 7.
In a conference call on March 13th, Dollar Tree CEO Rick Dreiling stated to investors that” we anticipate expanding our multi-price assortment by over 300 items at price points ranging from$ 1.50 to$ 7.00.”
The higher value items may include food, animal, and personal care items, according to Mr. Dreiling.
You will also see us fully integrating multi-price products into our stores, allowing our customers to find$ 5 dog food next to our customary$ 1.25 pet treats and toys in the candy section, according to Mr. Dreiling.
