According to an Axios/Ipsos surveys, Latinos ‘ support for President Joe Biden decreased by 12 points over the course of his presidency while that same period saw a rise in Latino support for former president Donald Trump.
The review serves as a sign that Biden failed to lower rising expenses as prices rose. It likewise confirms earlier New York Times/Siena College poll.
According to the Ipsos ballot, Latinos found the following:
Republicans held a three-point lead over the other party over Biden’s expensive market, down from a seven-point direct in 2023, according to the poll.
Democrats are also in the lead in reducing the country’s murder rate by four points, down from eight in 2023.
On the abortion issue, which has historically been the GOP’s poor place, Latino voters also favor Biden.
Trump began an energy on Monday to restrict Biden’s result on abortion, a top ten concern among citizens. Pregnancy is a state matter, Trump , said.
His speech contrasts with those of some Republicans and Democrats who want to use the federal government to enact laws that would make abortion outlawed or legal.
” My see is now that we have pregnancy where everyone wanted it from a legitimate standpoint, the state will decide by voting or policy, or possibly both, and whatever they decide, must be the law of the land”, Trump said.
The surveys sampled 1, 012 Latino parents from March 22- 28, 2024, with a 3.6 place margin of error.
