By allowing producers to deal directly with foreign buyers, Australia’s most popular status is looking to expand its grain export marketplace.
Usually, the wheat growers in the rich Northern Rivers place were required to send their create to SunRice, a global and one of the nation’s largest grain food companies.
Current arrangements prevent growers from entering their personal agreements, aside from the problem of transporting the corn 800 kilometers west to the SunRice headquarters.
In May, the government of New South Wales ( NSW) will introduce a bill to the Parliament that calls for the creation of a new Northern Streams rice export marketing and business structure. The state will also work to boost southern NSW’s corn business.
