Tesla, the automaker’s parent company, has decided to settle a lawsuit brought by the death of Apple expert Walter Huang, who died in a 2018 collision while using Tesla’s” Autopilot” program in his car.
Although the situation was scheduled to go to trial this year, the business has chosen to settle out of court. The defendants claimed that Tesla’s Autopilot malfunctioned, instantly causing Mr. Huang’s death.
The April 8 court record filed in the State of California’s Superior Court does not go into further detail about the arrangement or how much, if any, monetary compensation was included in it.
