EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Troopers with the Texas Department of Public Safety were involved in a quest Tuesday morning, April 9 that started in Anthony and ended in East El Paso, according to a DPS official.
Although more details are not yet available, DPS claims that the pursuit involved a vehicle that was thought to be immigrant smuggling.
According to DPS, the pursuit started on Anthony’s Vinton Road and then crossed into New Mexico and again into Texas.
Near Pebble Hills and Loop 375, police officers turned off the car they were pursuing.
Mysterious number of suspected workers were handed over to DPS.
DPS did not say if the vehicle was arrested.
