Unknowingly entertaining, the Washington Post article asserted that Republicans are opposed to putting more money into the Ukraine war by using Russian “propaganda” to create and intensify it.
Second month: The black foreign influence strategy that has made men hate Amy Schumer…
Obviously, the only cause a variety of Americans — , 31 percentage, according to Pew Research — , feels we’ve economically shackled ourselves a little too strongly to Ukraine, sinking hundreds of billions of taxpayer money into a fight we have no way to account for, is that Russia said so.
According to the Post,” Russia has been ramping up its advertising operations,”” as part of a second entrance that current and former senior American officials said has become nearly as crucial for Moscow as the defense campaign in Ukraine,” especially as parliamentary approval for additional aid has become crucial for Kyiv’s ability to continue defending itself.”
A fake American citizen created by a Russian communications company that would somewhere be cited ( presumably on social media ) claiming he “does not support the military aid that the U.S. is giving Ukraine and believes that the money should be spent defending America’s borders and not Ukraine’s was one of such allegedly poisonous “propaganda” was included at the very top. He sees that Biden’s policies are leading the U. S. toward collapse”.
Raise your hand if you needed someone, real or fake, to tell you the southern border has collapsed as a direct consequence of the president’s policies, and everything else has gone to hell for the same reasons.
No one goes to the grocery store or gas station right now and concludes with the statement,” All my money is gone, but I really ca n’t wait to send another$ 20 billion to Ukraine,” despite the media’s claims that middle-class Americans are as stupid and gullible as they are. Likewise, nobody sees the shocking images of the hordes of foreign men bum- rushing their way through border agents and thinks,” Hey, that’s neat”!
The Post nonetheless referred darkly to Russia’s “increasingly sophisticated strategy … to interfere in the U. S. political system” by way of disseminating messages. The intent, the Post said, is to” cultivate an environment in which’ Americans are not ready to sacrifice their well- being for the sake of the conflict in Ukraine’…” ( I mean, yeah. I’m not. However, Washington and the Post are prepared to do it for you. According to reports, the elaborate Russian plan includes” Kremlin-linked political strategists and trolls ] who have written thousands of fabricated news articles, social media posts, and comments that promote American isolationism, raise fear about the country’s border security, and attempt to amplify U.S. economic and racial tensions.”
Someone really needs to advise Russians to save their money if they are spending even one dollar in an effort to “instigate racism” in America. We already have The Washington Post and MSNBC working for us. As for the rest, maybe Democrats can just tell Biden to be a better president. Turning off the internet wo n’t fix the border or add more money to my account. And I can assure you that Americans are n’t as sexually aroused as Max Boot at the thought that Ukraine will receive more funding, which is not some marvel of Russian geopolitical ingenuity. The war has been going on for two years, with no resolution in sight, and its continuation does n’t help us regular Americans here.
We’re not exactly living in luxury at the moment. When Washington wo n’t solve the fundamental ones we have on our own, why would anyone feel the need to prioritize the problems of Eastern Europe?
The” Russian propaganda” nonsense poses a similar threat in 2024 as it does in 2016, which the Post claims was the year the Russian government “deployed a network of trolls — creators of fake social media accounts” to spread false information to support Donald Trump’s presidential campaign, including allegations that Hillary Clinton’s campaign was hacked, including stories involving fabricated information. ( Notice how the Post conflates real material with “disinformation” because it hurt the media’s preferred candidate. )

It was a ridiculous claim in 2016, and it’s a ridiculous claim now. Recall the diabolically genius ways Democrats and the media say Russians spread “disinformation” back then. One meme during the election , promoted , by the account” Army of Jesus” depicted Jesus Christ arm- wrestling Satan and was captioned,” Satan: If I win, Clinton wins! Jesus: Not if I can help it”!
Another ad said,” Stop Trump! Stop racism”!
Sen. Bernie Sanders, a former Democrat candidate, was depicted in a third personal favorite that only had a Speedo and was promoting gay rights.
According to the” Twitter Files,” Democrats lied right from the beginning about claims that they were being influenced by Russian spies. Even more absurdly, it’s absurd to think that Americans are n’t fervently committed to Ukraine just because deceitful propaganda has manipulated them. Not a single vote, for example, was demonstrably influenced by any of it.
The Post might have been more successful in its own pro-Ukraine propaganda campaign, which it waged at the extreme risk of putting the United States and our European allies in an existential conflict with a nuclear power if changing public opinion on the matter was so simple.
The Post has published countless articles and columns since the conflict started, with many implying that Russia was about to fall short of what it needs to win. For instance, President Volodymyr Zelensky shut down information outlets that criticised his leadership even before the war.
“Ukraine is winning the information war”, The Washington Post, March 1, 2022.
” Is Russia losing the war”? The Washington Post, March 14, 2022.
” Putin, unaccustomed to losing, is increasingly isolated as war falters”, The Washington Post, Dec. 30, 2022.
” Pressing for elections now would weaken Ukrainian democracy”, The Washington Post, Oct. 1, 2023.
“Ukraine remains stronger than you might think”, The Washington Post, Feb. 21, 2024.
Maybe the Post should try a Zelensky-themed meme on a Speedo.
