According to a document from the Arizona Republic, at least four electors claim that their names were fake on appeals to allow an Arizona Libertarian candidate to appear on the ballot. And then a person who is identified as one of the personal gatherers claims his name was fake and that he is not involved.

Michelle Martin is seeking to get on the vote in Arizona’s 1st Congressional District, which includes part of Maricopa County. Martin needed about 800 names from registered voters to count, and her group reportedly submitted around 1, 200 names.

At least four people who claim they not signed any report supporting Martin’s election were among the signatories, the Arizona Republic reported after speaking with those citizens.

Stephen Riordan, a Phoenix citizen, said,” That is definitely not me. ” Not even close to my name. That’s pretty upsetting”.

A similar history was shared by Shannon Speagle and two other people with the Arizona Republic.

” I’m disappointed”, Speagle reportedly said. ” It absolutely delegitimizes this candidacy”. According to the shop:

Speagle said she spoke with three of her other companions on Friday after finding out through The Republic that they were also listed on the complaint. All three said the photos of their petitions were’ false,’ also, Speagle said.

Three people allegedly collected the four names.

The name gathering was reportedly led by nine people. One of the nine brands was Jeremy Garrett, and according to the Republic, a Jeremy Garrett is listed as working for the leftist organization Our Voice Our Voting on Linked In.

However, the Republic reported that Garrett in an update to its history on Monday that he claimed Garrett had no notion who Martin was and that he had no involvement in the effort to gather names.

” I do n’t know why I’m being involved in something I did n’t even do”, Garrett told The Republic. ” I’ve not gathered names before. I’ve not done any filing of everything. I’ve always collected vote for people. I’ve never signed anything”.

Garrett claimed that the name on his title was fake, and that the plea paperwork, which had his first and last names on it, was also false. He even “presented photos of his passport and driver’s license signed just with the letter “J.”

Secretary of State Katie Hobbs did not respond to The Federalist’s plea for more information.

Our Voice Our Voting has previously been described by The Arizona Republic as a “dark money” firm that “does not have to name its contributors.” Democracy Alliance and the Open Society Foundation, which are both funded by left-wing billionaire George Soros, are contributing funds to Our Voice Our Voting.

An investigation into the allegations was never answered by Our Voice Our Voting.

Arizona’s 1st Congressional District is now represented by Republican David Schweikert. The Cook Political Report claims that the chair is now viewed as a toss-up.

According to Cronkite News,” Arizona is going to be one of the fewest states to be the most aggressive states for chairman,” according to an election analyst at the University of Virginia’s Center for Politics Kyle Kondik in December. ” And at least two legislative towns, in Schweikert and Ciscomani’s votes, that are going to be among the most competitive in the state”.
