The unnamed child and her father are seen scampering along the wind-swept roof in North Wollongong when one of them allegedly knocked her off her foot, heart-wrenching video posted by 7NEWS displays.
Her father then jumps over the fence and plunges straight into the water as horrified spectators scream.
Therefore, the video shows him holding onto his daughter’s life as he fought valiantly to preserve them both upright in the rocks as a third-party support in the torrent.
However, a rescue helicopter even was rushed to the scene.
Despite the frightening suffering, both of them made it out fairly unharmed, according to the information.
David Graham, one of the people who rushed to aid the trio, claimed that the father was exhausted but that he never let go of that child until they were pulled out.
Another witness was Melinda Graham, who tried to console the woman’s “hysterical” family.
According to a New South Wales Ambulance director, the father and child were taken to Wollongong Hospital, where they were treated for minor wounds and some liquid.
