On Wednesday, the Biden administration announced stringent restrictions on some so-called “forever compounds” in drinking water that may require utilities to reduce them to the lowest amount that can be accurately measured. According to authorities, this will reduce contact for 100 million people and help avoid dozens of illnesses, including cancer.
