Delta Air Lines posts a narrow Q1 profit and says travel demand remains strong despite flight scares

With travelers apparently unfazed by subsequent incidents in the industry, including a screen blowing out a jet midflight to a tire falling off another plane during takeoff, Delta Air Lines announced on Wednesday that demand for travel is solid heading into the summer- vacation season.
