The British economy needs to improve. However, you must look beyond the outrageous figures we keep seeing in the articles and creation talking points to understand why.
Take, for example, the latest work record. The British economy added 303, 000 work for March, which is a third consecutive month of record. On its mouth, that’s a good number.
But as Ryan McMaken laid out over the weekend, things do n’t look as strong when you dig into the data. For instance, almost most the jobs added are component- time jobs. Since December of last year, full-time work have actually been disappearing.
