There is no evidence that the life-altering drugs will “buy]them ] time to think” or “reduce suicide risk,” according to an independent review released on Wednesday. Gender-confused children should not be given opposite sex hormones.
According to the” Independent Review of Gender Identity Services for Children and Young People” conducted by prominent U.K. pediatrician Dr. Hillary Cass, scientific evidence does not support the sterilization procedures that sex extremists need.
Cass wrote in her forward that” this is an region of extremely weak information, and already results of studies are exaggerated or misrepresented by people on all sides of the debate to help their viewpoint.” The reality is that we lack strong information on the long-term effects of efforts to manage gender-related problems.
According to the report, which was requested by England’s National Health Service in 2020, substance and surgical procedures performed on kids who are deemed gender dysphoric do not produce favorable outcomes. When administering cross-sex hormones to people under the age of 18, the report advises the NHS to use” an exceedingly careful scientific approach and a strong clinical rationale.”
” Transitioning” kids socially, cutting off their chests or testicles, and biologically castrating them strike irreversible damage on their bodies and minds. In some cases, it may keep kids with , harrowing,  , existence- menacing consequences.
Cass served as the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health’s senator from 2012 to 2015. She said it’s important to establish that “parents are not unintentionally influencing the child’s identity representation” and noted babies with “gender problems” should be screened for various “neurodevelopmental problems” before being prescribed hormone. She also urged the NHS to “ensure there is provision for people considering detransition, acknowledging that they may not want to reengage with the services whose care they were previously under.”
One of the most famous admissions in Cass’s report is that many young people who struggle with having sex eventually get over it.
The current research indicates that children who exhibit gender incongruence at a young age are most likely to stop before puberty, though only a small proportion of the time, the report states. Parents and families need guidance on how to support their children in a fair and non-judgmental manner.
A recently published Dutch study found that the majority of young people and children who have “gender non-contentedness” eventually outlive that feeling by the age of 25.
A medical course of action wo n’t be the best option for most young people who are experiencing gender-related distress. It is insufficient to provide this for those young people for whom a medical pathway is clinically indicated without also addressing wider issues in mental health and/or psychosocially challenging issues, Cass told The Guardian.
Medical , and , health organizations , around the globe , have made a big show in the last decade of declassifying transgenderism as a disorder despite , research , showing strong links between gender- bending and a multitude of mental health issues.
Activists have weaponized , junk studies to insist that young, physically healthy individuals permanently sterilize themselves. They claim “affirming” a person’s rejection of his or her God- given sex can fix mental health problems,  , even those that predate gender dysphoria, and reduce suicide risk.
Cass’s study, however, found that many studies on the topic are of “poor quality”. About the effects of” transitioning,” studies that did not adhere to accepted scientific standards came to contradictory conclusions. Cass noted that, contrary to dominant media and government narratives, activist- pushed transgender interventions do not help a gender- dysphoric individual’s suicidal ideation.
According to the report,” It has been suggested that hormone treatment lowers the higher risk of death by suicide in this population,” but the findings did not support this assertion.
The study was praised as a win for children by those who have long been warned against the dangers of extremist gender ideology.
The body of evidence in favor of biological reality and common sense has increased as the years go on, according to Alliance Defending Freedom Vice President Jonathan Scruggs, who has defended their own consensus in a statement. The independent Cass report examines numerous studies conducted across many nations and for many years and comes to the right conclusion that this field is marked by “remarkably weak evidence” where practitioners have “abandoned traditional clinical approaches” harming children.
Author J. K. Rowling, who recently challenged Scotland’s new “hate crime” law that punishes people for saying men ca n’t become women, expressed frustration that Cass ‘ realizations were already being rejected by leftist media and Hollywood.
” If I sound angry, it’s because I’m bloody angry”, Rowling wrote on X. ” I read Cass this morning, and my anger has been rising all day. Kids have been irreversibly harmed, and thousands are complicit, not just medics, but the celebrity mouthpieces, unquestioning media and cynical corporations”.
