Travis Kelce joked that he has no idea how he won over his current girlfriend, Taylor Swift, noting that she “wasn’t even into sports.”
During the Kansas City Chiefs star player’s “New Heights” podcast on Wednesday with brother Jason Kelce, their guest host rapper/comedian Lil Dicky asked the Kelce brothers how they were dealing with all the attention they’ve received since Travis and the “Love Story” hitmaker started dating. “It’s not changed that much for me,” Jason Kelce replied, while his brother Travis said, “It’s fun” and said that he’s “having a blast in life, baby.”
“Just flying high, enjoying it all,” the Chiefs star continued. “Bringing new lives to the football world and opening up the football world up to new things.”
Lil Dicky — born David Andrew Burd — called the superstar couple’s romance “the best thing ever.”

“I think there’s just something that makes everyone feel like the world is like high school, where your most popular pop star beloved musician somehow how met your most popular beloved athlete and they actually fell in love and it’s just real,” the rapper added. “Anyone who hates on it is like a bitter loser. … There’s something so American about it.”
“I appreciate it, man,” Travis replied. “I don’t know how I did it because she wasn’t into sports, so I don’t know how the f**k I did it.”
Lil Dicky interjected, “Well you did because you called her out on …” referencing what Swift told fans about how impressed she was after Kelce gave her a shoutout on his podcast last summer.

“No, I know exactly how I did it,” Travis replied.
During the NFL offseason, Kelce and the “Blank Space” hitmaker have spent time together in the States and abroad after he traveled to support Swift at her “The Eras Tour” concert shows in Australia and Singapore.
Swift and Kelce recently got back from a vacation in The Bahamas. Photos surfaced online showing the two holding hands, kissing in the water, and enjoying themselves as Swift is currently on a break from her worldwide “The Eras Tour” until May, when the European leg of the tour starts.
The “Shake It Off” hitmaker and Kansas City tight end have been linked together since last summer.
It was previously believed the two had their first date after she attended his game on September 24. However, Swift later made it clear their relationship started weeks before and they were a couple by the time she went to his first game, as previously reported.
