Aimee Harris, a Florida family, was sentenced on Tuesday by a judge in Manhattan to one month in jail and three times of home confinement for allegedly stealing and selling President Joe Biden’s mother’s book from a Florida home.
Judge Laura Taylor Swain likewise called Harris’s behavior “despicable”.
Harris had pleaded guilty to a crime command in August 2022, according to the Associated Press, and admitted to stealing and selling Ashley Biden’s diary , to Project Veritas for$ 40, 000, of which she received quarter.
The alleged components of the book have emerged online , but have not been verified.

Harris expressed regret for selling the journal and for constantly postponing the sentencing hearing, claiming that she had been overburdened with taking care of her two young children, who were six and eight years old. She also explained to Swain that she is a victim of ongoing domestic violence and physical pain.
Co- accused Robert Kurlander, who apparently received the additional$ 20, 000, has not been sentenced however, but he has also , pleaded guilty to conspiracy to transport stolen house across state lines.
Harris was given the report to the prison in July.
