An attacker attacked an 85-year-old Idaho mother after retrieving her 357 Magnum pistol and killing him to keep her disabled son.
The assault took place on March 13, 2024, according to The New York Post. Bingham County Prosecutor Ryan Jolley revealed findings on April 10, 2024, that the mother had obviously protected both herself and her child.
According to Jolley, Christine Jenneiahn, the old mother was referred to as and she continued,” This situation presents an easy examination of self-defense and reasonable homicide… It also presents one of the most noble acts of self-preservation I have ever heard of.”
Jenneiahn was awoken at 2: 00 a. m. by the invader,  , Derek Condon, standing over her and pointing a 9mm handgun at her. He hit her, causing her to burn, then took her into her life area, handcuffed her to a head, and demanded goods.
The mom was hoping that the mother’s disabled son would stay healthy by not mentioning that he was in the home. She then informed Condon that there were compartments inside where he could store things. When he went upstairs to look she dragged herself–chair and all–to where she kept her handgun, retrieved it, and waited for Condon to come back home.
He reacted furiously when he learned that her disabled child was inside the house.
Seeing her second,  , Jenneiahn grabbed the pistol and shot Condon half. He returned flames, shooting in her arm, leg, neck, and stomach. But, Condon’s scars caught up with him after that and he struggled to the house, where he died.
Jolley stated that Jenneiahn next” collapsed to the floor” and lay there for ten hours before her brother arrived and gave her a telephone so she could contact 911.
According to East Idaho News, Jenneiahn was taken for her injuries and therefore released.
