On Wednesday’s spread of “CNN Newsroom”, Biden Campaign Co- Head Rep. James Clyburn ( D- SC ) responded to criticism by Biden’s past Chief of Staff Ron Klain of President Joe Biden for touting network when people are dealing with prices by stating,” Well, I’m hardly an economist. I do n’t know how these issues really work”. However, those who are successful because of the infrastructure rules may be consulted on both sides.
Clyburn said,” Well, I’m not an economist. I do n’t know how these issues really work. But I am aware of this, and I am aware that those who have jobs as a result of this equipment law are delighted to get back at work once more. I do know that people who see these flowers being put in their districts, like the Scout grow in Richland County, South Carolina, the…plant in Berkeley County, South Carolina, these power plants are providing jobs for people that never had excellent- paying jobs when, those things we need to speak about. But, I do think you have to do things on stability. But to say you’ve got — you ca n’t talk about one, because you talk about the other, I’m not that sure that’s the way to do things. So, when I hear people talk about the economy and start talking about the stock market and start talking about their 401 ( k ) s, I ask them about the people that I represent, who do n’t have 401 ( k ) s, but they’re looking for jobs and now they’ve got jobs, how do you balance that out? We’ve got to have those conversations on both sides of the equation, no one or the other”.
