Jury Acquits Massachusetts Man Charged For Protecting Himself And Others From Anti-GOP Attacker

A judge ruled last week that a man from Massachusetts who is accused of defending himself against his anti-Republican attacker is innocent on all works.

A Concord District Court judge found Kevin Mackie, a state citizen,” not innocent” on all charges stemming from his involvement in a rally in Acton, Massachusetts, in April. The purpose of the show was to rally the hospital’s role in administering Covid shots to children, according to The Federalist’s earlier reporting.

Frederick Smith, a nearby resident with a record of animosity toward non-leftists, confronted Mackie and another peaceful protesters during the 2022 opposition. Prior to this, Smith had previously made net statements in which he referred to the GOP as” Nazis” and claimed that Republicans “are a disease that this country needs to expel.” Smith’s various social media posts show that he had a rigorous adherent of the national government’s Covid diktats.

” I do n’t think that it was a good idea to give these kids]Covid ] shots, especially knowing the survival rate of Covid”, Mackie told The Federalist. ” Even if you disagreed with me, I did n’t deserve to get attacked for]exercising my right to ] free speech”.

The Federalist reviewed images that initially appeared to show Smith trying to break up Mackie’s protest sign and assaulting him. Mackie reportedly hit Smith with his megaphone “four days” in answer.

Smith pushed Mackie toward the earth into some local shrubs, according to more footage. When Smith refused to let go and grabbed Michelle Efendi’s elbow, Mackie then poured pepper spray into Smith’s experience.

After releasing Efendi, Smith pulled a four- foot- much Plastic pipe from Mackie’s damaged sign and used it to reach Mackie. Before finally running away, he even swung at Efendi and another activist, barely missing their faces. Smith was finally taken into police custody after calling 911.

Smith cut a deal with the company of Marian Ryan, the Democrat district attorney of Middlesex County, to have all of his charges dropped in change for several months of judicial supervision and involvement in anger management classes while the Acton Police Department requested Smith been charged on several counts, including assault and battery and assault with a dangerous weapon. In February 2023, a prosecutor granted the agreement.

However, the Acton Police Department sought a grievance against Mackie, requesting he been charged with trespassing, assault and battery, and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. Individuals convicted of the latter fee alone may face up to&nbsp, 10 years&nbsp, in state prison.

In the end, the Concord District Court jury rejected each of the charges brought against Mackie during next week’s test.

In his comment, Mackie credited his counsel Ilya Feoktistov for being “very zealous” about his situation and offering him pro bono picture. Mackie claimed he was fired in 2022 because he failed to adhere to his then-employeur’s face requirements, and he has since remained poor.

” It’s costed]Feoktistov] a lot of time” and tools, Mackie said, citing a charity started for Feoktistov’s department to support” a bunch of us freedom fighters professional bono”.

Moving forward, Mackie stated that he wants to keep up his resident engagement by assisting “like-minded people connect with each other and get hold of each other’s parties to… take more powerful activities.” He stated that he is also thinking about going to law school and that he is interested in tackling other pressing issues, such as stopping Democrats ‘ push for a radical gender ideology in classrooms.

” People are calling the truth’ racist’ and ‘ hateful’ when it’s not”, Mackie said. We must return to seeing the facts as they are, and restore objectivity in the world.
