Jake: The 2024 Masters begins now. Tiger Woods is the most powerful person in his game in my life, and potentially previously, whether you like him or dislike him. There’s a great debate it. And if this is his final round of the Masters, regardless of how well he plays or whether he makes it, I’m happy I got to see his fall, fall, and rise once more.
Never have I witnessed a single male create a unique game that is wildly popular worldwide. The gameplay of the match was entirely altered by him. He consistently overcame hardship and was both the villain and the hero in his portrayal of the monster.
I loved watching Tiger as a child, and my parents loved supporting him because of his “on the program pranks.” In terms of how he handled himself, he was a little bit unique. However, you were going to watch Tiger Woods no matter what your feelings were. And that’s the most important thing. In front of our eyes, we witnessed him melt grown men, and he took over the sports industry from time to time.
Has Tiger ever made some questioned decisions in the past? Without a doubt. But that is all part of what’s been the Tiger Woods Experience. And sadly, we will never see people do what he has done in the game of golf once, or even any other activity. They do n’t need to be concerned about golf because Tiger has already risen so far in the game, from one poll to the next, that golf is here to stay in the forefront for the long haul.

No other person‘s effects on the game of golf can compare to Tiger’s and how he elevated the game in every way in the discussion of the most influential person to their sport. ( I emphasize the player because the person who invented it is the most influential person in their sport, so none of this would even be possible. ) But is there anyone else who has had more impact than Tiger?
David: Well, no. He may not be the greatest sprinter who has ever lived. For instance, Wayne Gretzky, who we mentioned earlier this month, is only head and shoulders above everyone who has ever played soccer. But if you’re going to apply the term “impactful”, then it would have to be Tiger Woods.
It just so happens that when Tiger was dominating and coming near, we were of the time we were curious and able to watch his profession develop. That’s generally going to be a part of our culture. However, you can look at the data to demonstrate his influence in the context of the sport. And I believe he is also one of the earliest billionaires to play golf, and he is also one of the first billionaires to do so.
We should be proud that he will compete in this Masters. I do n’t know how well he will do, and I do n’t know if he’ll make the cut — though his odds did improve overnight. They were + 12, 000 Wednesday and + 10, 000 today ( Thursday ). However, it was only in February 2021 that Tiger was involved in his vehicle accident, and people were unsure if he would ever be able to move again. And this week, he’ll get walking the spinach at Augusta National. But for that, we should be proud.
Jake: Blaine, is Tiger going to win? Will he render it through?
Blaine: When it comes to the Masters, you just want to get tight. On Sunday, you want to be at the shooting range where you can operate. And I do n’t think anyone else realizes Tiger’s dominance during his reign. According to statistics, Scottie Scheffler would need to be at the bottom every week for 12 years and three days for Tiger to capture his total of 12 months of spending at number one.
Jake: Well, enjoy your pimento cheese hamburgers, fathers and sons, and let’s see if Tiger can go on the hunt once again in Augusta.
