On Thursday, Vice President Kamala Harris praised the ATF’s proposed law that would require background checks on secret weapon profits in a film that was posted to X.
President Biden made fun of the proposed ATF law on Thursday night, too.
According to Breitbart News, the proposed ATF rule expands the scope of instances where an unlicensed seller, i .e., a private citizen, must use the National Instant Criminal Background Check System ( NICS) to sell or transfer a gun.
In Harris’s picture, she claimed the expanded background investigations will” keep life”. She then went on to drive for Congress to pass more gun control, including red flag laws, an “assault arms” ban, and practically universal background investigations.

Harris did not mention that California has a “assault weaponry” ban since 1989, a nationwide background check since the beginning of the 1990s, and a red flag laws since 2014. California is the position with the most weapon control in the nation.
However, in 2021, California was the number one position for “active shooter situations”.
