
A Virginia priest was hailed as a “hero” for saving a young child from a flaming disaster on the highway after a dump truck and an SUV collided head-on.
When he and his wife witnessed the wastes vehicle punch a wheel, bridge into the inner-loop lanes, and fall into a vehicle carrying a mother and son, according to Fox 5 DC, Bishop John Adonteng Boateng of Divine World International Ministries in Woodbridge was heading down I-459.
The incident occurred at around 11: 00 a. m. on Tuesday in Prince George’s County, Maryland.  ,
Boateng soon pulled over and jumped out of his car to save the SUV when it caught fire.
A picture that the media outlet obtained shows the priest rescuing the young boy from the flames while the woman was able to leave the burning vehicle.  ,

The spectacular video shows the teen’s damaged clothes and clearly shaken calm as he carries the baby away from the dangerous picture.
When asked what he had been thinking at that moment, Boateng said,” I’m going to keep a life”.
” There was nothing. I may have died. Although I had a point to make, my goal was to help. God used me to offer him a second opportunity”, the priest said, adding that he merely followed his intuition.
” There were so many explosions, but I did n’t even pay attention to that. My initial reaction was to “help that weak little child.”
Both the mother and the child were taken to the hospital with serious injury, but both are expected to survive, according to the shop.
According to Maryland State Police, the chuck truck’s driver even had a child passenger inside. They were taken to a doctor, but no changes on their health were made.
The cause of the collision remains under investigation, police added.
