Stephen Friend and Garret O’Boyle lived their entire life serving their country in the FBI. However, when they began to question some of the decisions being made within the ministry, they were suspended.  ,
After joining the FBI, O’Boyle says he “immediately saw that other agents ]and ] supervisors did n’t have a solid grasp of people’s civil rights” . ,
” Having sworn that oath to the Constitution multiple times—twice in the Army, once as a police officer, once as an FBI agent”, O’Boyle said, “it actually meant something to me—which, I think, it does n’t to many, maybe even to most at this point. It’s really a work”.
O’Boyle stated that FBI agents attend the FBI Academy in Quantico, Virginia, where they study constitutional laws, and that being a democratic rights advocate was “most essential to me.”
O’Boyle was unavoidably suspended from the FBI in 2022 after questioning some of the decisions being made there.  ,
Friend has a history related to O’Boyle’s. Although the person had agreed to cooperate with the analysis, he raised problems when he learned that a SWAT team would be used to detain a gentleman who was at the Capitol on January 6.  ,
Friend said he told his leaders,” We should not be doing this. There’s different avenues to do it”, referring to arresting the person. Soon thereafter, Friend was suspended from the FBI.  ,
O’Boyle and Friend appear on” The Daily Signal Podcast” to discuss the problems they witnessed with the FBI and what transpired as they began to question.
