West Virginia Attorney General Patrick Morrisey ( R ) leads the race for the state’s Republican gubernatorial nomination, according to a Research America/Metro News West poll.
The outcast poll released on Thursday, however, disproves latest trends, which have allowed Morrisey to have solid double-digit leads. He is currently two points ahead of Moore Capito, a former state representative and the son of Sen. Shelley Moore Capito (R-WV ).
Of the 400 good Republican primary voting respondents, 31 percent again Morrissey, while 29 cent help Capito. Businessman Chris Miller lands at 16 percent, Secretary of State Mac Warner ( R- WV ) takes 12 percent, and three percent prefer another candidate. One in ten are undecided.
Morrisey has the help of 32 percent of Republicans and 27 percent of politicians, while 25 percent of Democrats and 38 percent of politicians up Capito. The poll was conducted from April 3- 9 with a trust level of ± 4.9 percent items.
Though Morrisey leads, the ballot deviates greatly from every surveys in the contest, FiveThirtyEight has documented, dating up to October. For example, an Emerson College surveys conducted March 19- 21 found Morrisey with a 17- place lead over the area, with Capito in second spot.
Morrisey was at 33 percent, followed by Miller at 16 percentage, Capito at 14 percent, and Warner at six percentage. In that surveys, almost three in ten responders were undecided.
Emerson College Polling sampled 735 good citizens, with a margin of error of ± 3.6.
Following the Emerson surveys, a WPA Intelligence poll conducted by the pro-MoreyBlack Bear PAC, which also had the counsel common up 17 items, was conducted.

The ballot, which sampled 501 good citizens from April 1- 3, had Morrisey at 37 percentage, Capito at 20 percent, Miller at 19 percent, and Warner at 14 percent. The MOE was ± 4.4 percentage, according to a message from State Government Reporter Steven Allen Adams.
Former US president Donald Trump has not supported the campaign, despite the fact that he has demonstrated himself to be a frontrunner with his support for Republican presidential candidates.

Shelley Moore Capito, a member of Senate GOP Leadership &, recently approved a billion dollar bill for Ukraine. Although she wo n’t run for governor of West Virginia this year, her RINO son is.

Morrisey reacted to Trump Jr.’s article on X in a similar way.
