Rapper from California named Polo G was detained for possessing arms after officers discovered a gun in his Lower Manhattan motel room, according to police on Thursday.
The 25-year-old” Pop Out” singer, who is known as Taurus Bartlett, was staying at the Dominick Hotel in Lower Manhattan on Wednesday when a girl discovered the revolver while cleaning his place.
The resort called authorities, who , charged Polo G , with arms possession. On Thursday, his trial in Manhattan Criminal Court was pending.
Actually from Chicago, Polo G spent day in that state’s prison system before he , began putting out lyrics and music clips online. His song quickly became popular, and he soon won a record deal while still in his youth.
He’s known for his 2019 hit” Finer Stuff” from his debut record which cracked the top 10 on the Billboard 100. His fourth studio album was released the year before.
He is best known for his music with Bronx rapper Lil Tjay,  ,” Pop Out” , , which has amassed over 80 million views on YouTube and peaked at No. 11 on the Billboard Hot 100.
