A conservative activist and comedian issued a warning Thursday on social media, telling Americans that illegal immigrants are being sent to Wisconsin, where the state government’s website is currently advertising free voter identification cards even for people who are not eligible for regular Wisconsin identification.
“As we know, they’ve been shipping a lot of illegal people all over the country, and they’re bringing them into Wisconsin,” Conservative Ant, a conservative activist and comedian, said in a video on social media. “Now this says, ‘Free ID for voting.’ ‘Get an ID for voting even if you do not have the documentation to get a regular Wisconsin ID.’
The conservative activist explained that the link for information related to the free voter identification cards was available on the Wisconsin Department of Transportation’s website.

“I’m going to show you something else,” Conservative Ant added. “Let’s really look at number three here. ‘If you don’t have all or any of these, you can still get an ID for voting.’”
Conservative Ant explained that he was “willing to bet” that Democrats were giving illegal immigrants money to “vote blue.” Pointing to Wisconsin’s website as just one example of widespread voting concerns, the conservative activist described the state’s advertisement for free voting identification for individuals without proper state identification as “election interference.” He warned that people in the United States need to “wake up.”
Wisconsin’s Department of Transportation’s website states that obtaining a free voter identification card is “easy even if you do not have the documentation to get a regular Wisconsin ID.”
While the state’s website encourages people to bring their Social Security card, birth certificate, proof of U.S. citizenship, and proof of Wisconsin residency to the Department of Motor Vehicles to apply for a voter identification card, the website states, “If you don’t have all or any of these, you can still get an ID for voting. Just bring what you have to the DMV, fill out two forms (form MV3004, and form MV3012), and you will get a photo ID document in the mail that you can use in time for voting.”
