The Israel Defense Forces ( IDF) said Sunday that it had scored a” significant strategic achievement” after it prevented 99 % of Iran’s drones and missiles from reaching their targets.
As Breitbart News reported, Iran attacked Israel over Saturday into Sunday with a cluster of over 300 robots, cruise weapons, and nuclear weapons. Israel’s air defense systems intercepted most of them, the U. S., U. K., and Jordan also intercepted Egyptian drones.
In a statement, IDF Spokesman Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari said (via IDF translation ):
Next day, Iran initiated an assault against Israel, launching over 300 risks of different forms. A powerful fighting alliance and the IDF combined to intercept the overwhelming majority of the threats, providing both underwater and technological superiority for the Iranian threat. 99 % of threats made toward Israeli territory were actually intercepted, which is a very important strategic success.
Of approximately 170 unmanned aerial vehicles ( UAVs ) that Iran launched, zero crossed into Israeli territory. Israeli Air Force fighter jet, our Aerial Defense Array, and our colleagues ‘ flying security systems and aircraft intercepted many of them.
From the more than 30 boat weapons Iran launched, few crossed into Israeli territory. 25 of them were intercepted by IAF warrior jet outside the country’s borders. Out of around 120 ballistic missiles, only a few crossed into Israeli country, with the remainder being intercepted. These fell at the Nevatim Air Force Base, causing even minor damage to equipment. As you can see, the center is still in operation and carrying out its responsibilities. You can see the getting band at the Nevatim center in the photo.
Iran hoped to subdue the center and so impede our flying functions, but it failed. IAF plane continue to land and take off from the center and make their way to offensive and defensive missions. This includes the” Adir” fighter jets, which are currently returning to the bottom from an aerial security mission, and you will quickly see them set.
In addition to the debuts conducted from Iran, many launches were conducted from Iraq and Yemen. None of them crossed into Israeli place. In subsequent time, tens of rockets were fired from Palestinian territory toward the northwest, there were no fatalities. Fighter planes struck Hezbollah targets across Lebanon, including Radwan goals. All this while more plane continue to defend the planet.
Over the past six months, we have been operating in close coordination with our colleagues, led by US CENTCOM, the UK, France, and other places that operated next day. Although this partnership has always been strong, it was especially noticeable next night. We had a complex defense air battle last night, and the IAF and the Intelligence Directorate did a fantastic job of it. The Chief of the General Staff from the Israeli Air Force Operations Center was in charge of the war.
Outstanding expertise and the IDF’s martial and technical supremacy were demonstrated by the Aerial Defense Array’s ability to intercept missiles and the IAF’s ability to defend against attack. Owing to all of this, the strike by Iran – was thwarted.
An Arab Jewish woman who was hit by debris in the Jewish city of Arad was the only Jewish victim.
Researchers on Israel’s Army Radio suggested that Israel had changed its recent circumstances when it found itself isolated in the world due to the cost of the Israeli military’s involvement in the conflict with Hamas in Gaza. One person cited Jordan’s efforts to defend Israel from the Egyptian strike as signaling the formation of a Middle East “NATO.”
