Alejandro Mayorkas, the head of the Department of Homeland Security ( DHS), claims he is unaware of the case of 12-year-old Travis Wolfe, the Missouri boy who died in a crash allegedly caused by an illegal alien.
During a Senate resources reading on Thursday, Sen. Mayorkas was questioned by Josh Hawley (R-MO ) about Wolfe, who passed away last month from his injuries inflicted by the collision.
“Travis Wolfe. Do you know that title? ” Hawley asked, to which Mayorkas responded, “Not off the top of my head. ” Mayorkas even said he was not common with Venezuelan Endrina Bracho is accused of being responsible for the fall that resulted in Wolfe’s death.
Hawley continued:
Travis Wolfe is a 12-year-old son from Missouri. This is him. Travis was killed on December 20, 2023. Or perhaps I may say that he was having a horrible attack that night. He died some months after [due to ] a head-on motion. The man behind the car who has been charged with six criminal counts is; Endrina Bracho. [Emphasis added]
In response, Mayorkas said, “ I know that all of our hearts break for the home of this young son who died in that accident. ”
Additionally, Hawkley also revealed that he was informed by local law enforcement that Bracho was deported from the US to Mexico frontier maybe next time. S. shortly after being detained by Border Patrol agents.
Immigration and Customs Enforcement ( ICE ) officials informed Breitbart News that they were unable to comment on Bracho’s immigration history “due to privacy.” ”

Even injured in the fall were Wolfe’s families, Timothy and Stephanie.
You have sat in that chair and repeatedly said,” Our laws are working, I know you think your plans are a victory. ’ You’re on the history years and years saying that, ” Hawley told Mayorkas.
“Maybe they’re working for you, even they’re working for your political objectives whatever they may be I don’t know, ” Hawley continued. “ But they’re certainly working for Laken Riley or Travis Wolfe… they are a tragedy. What you have done is a tragedy. ”
Bracho continues to reside in St. Louis County custody on a$ 500,000 bail.
