Have you ever considered that we would witness that happening in your career? ” Clarkson asked former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. “It’s really stupid to me, the considering that went on in 1864— it ’s a very different earth, we know a lot more then — that we’re going forward. ”
Clinton responded by calling the The Arizona court’s decision is “horrifying in every approach.” ”
“ I feared it would happen, but I hoped it would n’t happen, ” Clinton continued. And then, in about half the state of our nation, women are experiencing a very difficult time, where they cannot receive the attention they need. ”
“The old law in Arizona is without exceptions [for rape and incest], ” Clinton said. And the risk to women’s lives as well as our ability to choose our own bodies and ourselves is so great. And there’s another factor to it, which I find so disturbing. I mean, there’s a kind of violence to it. ”
Clarkson even noted that she was hospitalized during both of her babies, adding that she worried about losing her career.
“I virtually asked God, this is a real issue, to just take me and my brother in the hospital for the second day, because I was like, ‘It’s the worst thing, ‘” the song said, before pausing to regret as she apparently became personal.
“It was my decision and I’m so happy I did it, I like my children, but to create one — and you don’t know how painful it is, ” Clarkson added. The fact that you would essentially get someone’s life could literally kill them. The fact that if a family member rapes someone and they have to, that is just crazy to me. ”
