On Friday ’s “PBS News Hour, ” Washington Post Associate Editor and MSNBC host Jonathan Capehart said he believes that “there are no political considerations involved ” in President Joe Biden’s policy towards Israel, but left-wing critics of the administration ’s approach are putting pressure on Biden “to get something done. ”
Capehart said, “ I take the management at its expression. There are no social factors involved in that when the administration claims that they are considering how to handle the Israel-Hamas war and how to deal with Israel from the president over. And I believe that is one of the causes of the upheaval of so many persons. If the President were playing politicians with this condition, he would be doing all sorts of things to try to choose the people who are demonstrating, who are doing camps at colleges. ”
He continued,” But I do say to the people who are protesting, the young people who are unhappy, and all of the people who are upset about the President and the administration for what they are doing, and he would say to them, I need you to maintain protesting on the outside, because that puts pressure on me to get things done. And I think that is what’s happening. ”
