A 24-year-old Georgia man has only months to live, but he made a brave pact with his girlfriend to ensure that he wo n’t have to deal with it alone.
After being diagnosed with stage three stomach cancers in 2023, Jordan Barrett has been fighting diligently. After going through surgery and treatment, he finally went into cure soon in 2023, according to a speech on GoFundMe.
We learned a few weeks ago that my tumor has returned and is even more violent than it was before, Barrett wrote.
Physicians confirmed in March that he would only be able to wait four months before the cancer would spread, which has been tough for both his family and his fiancee Mikayla.
Yet though “forever” is a promise he knows he may be unable to stay, Barrett is marrying Mikayla on Saturday as his dying wish, WNEP reported.
Many group members and companies have stepped up to make his dream bride come real, including B Inspired Occasions, Ohana Professional Bartenders, Moonstone Photography, Josh Hill Films, Chef Steve Creations, Ice Cream Trailer, The Cereal Lab, Kay the MUA Cosmetics, Carola’s Kitchen, Your Best Host, One Night Entertainment, Blank Canvas Event Rentals, Southern Vintage, Soulscribe, E. Stokes Creations, N’pressed Series, and Gemini Fusion.
Numerous other people are offering to set up and disassemble the important event, according to the local media outlet.
Barrett’s charity to alleviate some of the expenses from his home has now crossed his$ 15,000 objective, but the cancer fighter is also accepting gifts.
He wrote,” I appreciate people and am beyond grateful that I have an incredible support structure through this.” I am aware of where I am heading when this period is over. I’ve accepted it; all I want to do is pass the time with those I appreciate and celebrate! I appreciate you all for your assistance. God love. ”
