Israel carried out a hostile attack against Iran earlier Friday night , U. S. and global authorities confirmed.
Speaking at the G7 meeting in Capri, Italian Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani revealed the U. S. received “last-minute” details regarding Israeli aircraft activity in Iran. But while the United States was given some see, it did not endorse or join in the attack, officials said.
No part of the U.S. assault was shared. S ,” said Tajani, who chaired the appointment of officials. “It was sheer data. ”
Secretary of State Antony Blinken after confirmed the U. S. “has never been involved in any offensive operations, ” adding that the emphasis is on Israel’s defence and de-escalation.
“We are committed to helping Israel As you saw only a few days ago, he said, “defend itself and when necessary participating in its defense,” referring to the ; U. S. and allied action to help Israel stop the trip strikes. “Again , Israel makes its choices, but we have a responsibility to defending it. ”
U. S. authorities also told CNN and ABC News of the attack, which came on the feet of Iran’s trip attack, involving a barrage of of more than 300 drones and missiles aimed at Israel. All but a couple were intercepted by the country and its allies, including the United States.
Iranian authorities have thus far sought to downplay the Jewish strike, which could indicate a potential increase in the Middle East issue. However, the nation’s air defense systems were activated after bombs sounded Friday in the towns of Tabriz and Isfahan, which is home to a big military airport and many nuclear sites, position media reported.
There have n’t been any casualties and  reports; Israel has so far offered no reply.

In the days after the attack, the G7 ministries from Britain , Canada , France , Germany, Italy, Japan and the United States called on all events “to stop further increase. ” They further pledged aid for Israel’s security and condemned “in the strongest terms ” what the overseas officials described as Iran’s “unprecedented strike against Israel on April 13-14, which Israel defeated with the help of its associates, ” as well as the seizure of the Portuguese-flagged vehicle MSC Aries in the Strait of Hormuz.
Iran’s strike over the weekend came almost six times after Hamas invaded Israel on Oct. 7. Before results of armed soldiers flooded Jewish communities along the southeastern border, the Arab terrorist organization launched hundreds of missiles from the Strip.
The war prompted an Israeli answer, a continuous bombardment and following floor abuse in Gaza, which is continuous.
