On Friday ’s broadcast of HBO’s “Real Time, ” host Bill Maher said that “endlessly talking about gender to six-year-olds is n’t just inappropriate, it ’s what the law would call entrapment, which means enticing people into doing something they would n’t ordinarily do. … There’s a certain kind of advocate these days who wants to get homosexuality — old institution, old fashioned, boring, minding-its-own business homosexuality — and pile it in with patriarchy and sexism and racism and show kids, did n’t it be nice if you were anything but that? ”
Maher more stated, “I’ve said it before, wokeness is not an expansion of democracy again. More frequently, everything is taken so far that it turns the other way. Teaching children not to love or judge those who are unique, wonderful, happy we got it, all for that. But, at a certain point, addition becomes advertising, and contrary to present liberal dogma, children aren’t smaller adults smart beyond their years. They’re imbeciles. They’re foolish morons who’ll consider everything and just want to choose grown-ups, and they don’t had any frame of reference, so they normalize whatever’s happening. That’s why endlessly talking about gender to six-year-olds is n’t just inappropriate, it ’s what the law would call entrapment, which means enticing people into doing something they would n’t ordinarily do. … There’s a certain kind of advocate these days who wants to get homosexuality — old institution, old fashioned, boring, minding-its-own business homosexuality — and pile it in with patriarchy and sexism and racism and show kids, did n’t it be nice if you were anything but that? It also seems to become the subject of a lot of children’s books these days. I never used the term queer agenda, because I thought it was generally nonsense, and it is, generally. ”
Maher then played a clip of Disney Executive Producer Latoya Raveneau discussing her “gay agenda ” and adding “queerness ” to programming and concluded, “Look, I’m all for adding queerness wherever. Before I left now, I drank some water. However, perhaps we should consider stopping our cultural warfare for a moment or at the very least until the election is around. ”
