Cojocar claimed that West was traveling to function.

In a reading Thursday in Cojocar, a prosecutor in the Macomb County Circuit Court, informed the prosecutor that West had died in a collision.
West pleaded guilty Feb. 5 to commit second-degree house war and abuse with the intention of causing serious bodily harm. Two classic costs, attempted murder and first-degree home war, were dismissed with his petition. He initially faced a felony murder demand , but it was dismissed in the neighborhood court. He was set to become sentenced April 26.
West, who was 16 at the time, 16-year-old Isabella Bridges, 15-year-old Emma Morgan and 14-year-old Trent Redstrom broke into the Fraser house of a 14-year-old student, where four other teenagers were. They were threatening to kill one of the youth , the 14-year-old testified at the July initial interview.
West, Trent and the 14-year-old’s companion were stabbed during the house invasion. Trent eventually died from his wounds. The 14-year-old killed Trent during the house war, but the shooting was ruled self-defense by the Macomb County attorney.
The 14-year-old testified that when the musician broke into his house, he was afraid and went to his bedroom to retrieve his father’s martial knife. West also carried a weapon. He testified that Trent backed the girl into a spare room and began punching him in the mind. He also stabbed him. West was likewise stabbed by the 14-year-old when he witnessed West stumbling on his friend and stabbing him. He pushed West off using his hands and the weapon, stabbing him in the process, he testified.
In a punishment document filed with the court, Cojocar claimed that the authorized subjects of the case should have been charged because they were more culpable than West was of Trent’s stabbing and death. He said, and has said earlier, that the facts of the case “could not be in more debate. ”
Cojocar told The Detroit News It was “unbelievable ” that there were so many different interpretations of what transpired that day. ” He said he thinks the “legal patients” in the case should have been charged, citing some of the scriptures and Snapchat information they sent both before and after the shooting. They showed their “true intentions ” in those messages, he said. In one information, the 14-year-old’s companion, identified as CH, said: “ I hope collin died and im going to kick on trent’s grave when I figure out we’re it is. ”
In the 911 call, Cojocar said in his imprisonment memo, the 14-year-old showed his true feelings.
“ I only told you bro, I merely killed three persons. I stabbed four persons in the heads or everything, ” the girl said.
West wrote in a text to Judge Michael Servitto that he never intended to kill people, and he had just wanted to fight the 14-year-old’s companion.
I spent many nights and times contemplating how this could have been avoided and properly resolved, but sadly at the time no one was concerned about the results at the time it occurred, West wrote. I honestly apologize to everyone who has been affected by my behavior and would never want this on anyone. I would do anything to get this up, but all I can do is strengthen myself and keep improving my thinking because I lost one of my closest friends and will never forget the pain I felt for letting him suffer. It also made me want to fight for a better true potential and proud of myself, my family and myself, he wrote.
Lucido described West’s demise and the situation as a drama.
Nevertheless, Lucido described this as a very, very tragic event, from the stabbing right up until the accused were killed in it, ” Lucido said.
Emma and Isabella both entered innocent pleas. Emma to two counts of criminal assault and battery and one count of third-degree household war, and Isabella to two counts of criminal assault and battery.
Both defendants were given a prison term under the Holmes Youthful Trainee Act, which means that their beliefs may remain secret if they successfully finish their supervision.
