This weekend, an Catholic priest who serves the Jewish society at Columbia University wrote a message to Israeli students urging them to leave school for their own health in the midst of pro-terror, pro-Palestinian demonstrations.
Elie Buechler, the Catholic rabbi at Columbia, cautioned students that the city and university police could not protect them and that Israeli students should “return home as soon as possible and remain there until the reality has significantly improved. ”

As Breitbart News reported, Columbia’s school has been occupied by anti-Israel, pro-Palestinian individuals who are chanting directly pro-Israel phrases. There have been numerous studies and clips of Jews being tamed.

Columbia, huge a hub of anti-Israel engagement, has faced even more serious protests since the Hamas terror attack of October 7. The administration has suspended some companies, banned some students from school, and yet allowed the New York Police Department to visit last week to clean an illegitimate camp, but the extreme protests have continued. ( Some students have only been given written warnings despite breaking university regulations. ) )
