Raphael Warnock, the president of the Democratic Party, was reportedly addressed to Pope Francis in a personal audience on Saturday, according to the Vatican Press Office.
Warnock, top priest of Atlanta’s Ebenezer Baptist Church, said he greatly admires the pontiff’s work “to center society in public life — from addressing poverty and hunger, to fighting the climate crisis, to promoting peace. ”
The 54-year-old lawmaker has come under fire for using Sacred Scripture to support the process of pregnancy and for praising the questionable Rev. According to Jerry Wright, he hoped to hear from the bishop how he uses his Christian belief to bridging the growing divides in our society. ”
In 2020, the Susan B. Anthony List ( SBA List ), a national pro-life organization, said Warnock’s radicalism is “deeply disturbing. ”
Raphael Warnock has “attempted to employ scripture to justify his serious position in favor of abortion on requirement, up until the moment of conception, for any reason, ” according to the party. His radicalism is profoundly disturbing and unrelated to the popular in America. ”
Warnock, who was endorsed by pregnancy big Planned Parenthood, has publicly stated that pregnancy is consistent with his role as “a Christian minister. ”
For her element, Staci Fox, President & CEO of Planned Parenthood Southeast Advocates, said she was “thrilled ” with Planned Parenthood Action Fund ’s endorsement of Warnock, whom she called a “dedicated champion ” of reproductive rights.

Bonino spearheaded the effort to legalize abortion in Italy by founding the Center for Information on Sterilization and Abortion ( CISA ), which was launched in 1975.
A protégée of George Soros, Bonino built a career as a legislator for the Radical Party, and eventually became a Continental Commissioner and Italy ’s foreign secretary. Throughout her job, she has promoted mass migration, Western democracy, and the abolition of federal territories.
