Denver and other Colorado populations have transformed colleges into welfare organizations as tens of thousands of children of illegal border crossers flood into the state’s schools, where they get free food, clothing, shoes, care, and learning at citizens ’ price.
The Washington Post reported on the transition of Centennial State schools from traditional education facilities to full-fledged security organizations, where thousands of students of all ages, many of whom have never attended a school their entire lives, enroll.
The papers began its history by talking about eleven-year-old Alberto, who was enrolled in a class in Aurora, Colorado. At eleven, Alberto had not attended university and spoke no English. Alberto has been shoehorned into fifth grade despite this because he has no educational background and is currently in fourth grade.
The Aurora university program has been flooded by more than 2,800 students who are illegal, according to The Post. Aurora is far from only. Denver, the state’s largest class program, has been inundated with more than 3,700 toddlers of fugitives only over the course of the 2023-2024 school time.
Denver, the report adds, often welcomes about 500 toddlers of fugitives a time, but, in the past year, that amount has skyrocketed to 250 every year, as President Joe Biden’s border crisis continues.

The flow is a severe burden on educators.
“ When you have 17 children in your class, and then the next day you have 35, you’re basically starting over, ” said Janine Dillabaugh, the director of Eagleton Elementary in Denver, according to the Christian Science Monitor. Beyond educational help, she says, “We also have to go to their social and emotional demands. ”
“Emotional requires ” means control issues, violence, and acting out by frustrated individuals who have never been required to go to college in their home countries, the Post added.
Schools have been overburdened with students who are far below the recommended educational thresholds and who are very poor at English, making it difficult for them to find bilingual teachers.
It is not just Spanish-speaking teachers they need, either. The current bilingual curriculum Colorado’s schools have instituted is generally Spanish-English, but, thanks to Biden’s wide-open border, the schools are finding more than a dozen languages being spoken by the children of illegals flooding Colorado, including Afghan, Chinese, various African dialects, languages from East Asia, and many more.
Many of these children are also arriving at schools with a lack of appropriate clothing and even with untreated medical issues even as the schools scramble to create bilingual programs serving the many languages. Due to these problems, schools have evolved into miniature welfare facilities where children and sometimes even their parents receive a comprehensive service that meets all of their needs.
One Venezuelan woman happily reported to the paper that her son’s Aurora school provides her with “everything.”
“This is the only place I feel supported, ” she chirped. “Clothes, WiFi, food, shoes — they help with everything. ”
She even got free dental care thanks to efforts by school staffers, the Post reported.
Another alarming trend was reported by the Post, Colorado schools are working to hire foreigners who may have been teachers in their home countries because they are so desperate for bilingual teachers. That means that teachers who were trained in foreign teaching methods, many of whom were socialist, socialist, or other vehemently anti-American nations, will now be taught in American classrooms to prepare students who will later be absorbed into American society.
School budgets have also been cut from the strain, and many districts are requesting more money as illegals flood their classrooms. Some believe that the federal government should increase, but most of the burden is on local taxpayers, who are compelled to pay the bill with higher taxes and reduced services to legal residents.
Certainly, the issue is only getting worse month by month, not better, and American schools are being dragged under as Biden’s tidal wave of illegals grows.
