Rep. Ilhan Omar’s (D-MN) girl, Isra Hirsi, lately complained to Teen Vogue about what happened following her suspension from her New York City institution after an anti-Israel camp was formed at Columbia University.
Hirsi was fired from Barnard on Thursday because she had allegedly helped organize the “Gaza Solidarity Encampment, ” which was later dismantled by NYPD officers, according to a report in Vogue on Sunday.

According to the New York Post, the 21-year-old was one of 100 people officers took into prison during the anti-Israel demonstration on Thursday.

“After her release, Hirsi faced being evicted from her dorm and inflamed social media backlash — much of which, she says, is based on ‘misunderstanding ’ and ‘misrepresentation, ‘” the Vogue article continued.
Hirsi told the newspaper that she and another young lady were informed they were suspended earlier when she mentioned not being allowed to go back to her bedroom.

Hirsi explained that she does not have many items of clothing, and that even though she relies on her dining schedule for meals, she is not permitted to enter the dining room.
“ I think it ’s actually on a school-by-school base, and Barnard has decided to take a pretty severe stand against us, ” she stated.
Hirsi is an administrator for Columbia Students for Justice in Palestine, the channel reported on Thursday.
According to the report, anti-Israel demonstrators apparently set up tents at Columbia University on Sunday after authorities removed others from the campus.

“Since Hamas, a U. S. -designated Islamic terror group attacked Israel by land, water, and heat on October 7, leaving more than 1,200 Israelis dying and more than 200 individuals taken as captives, anti-Israel protests have increased throughout the United States and internationally, ” the post noted.
Hirsi also stated to Vogue that she must waited until her receiving before making plans for what she will do next. Until then, the young woman said she is “houseless. ”
