Bill Maher, a democratic talk-show host, delivered an unusual monologue in which he strongly opposed ; female philosophy for kids, calling it “entrapment. Why do I constantly have to support them despite never having children himself, he explained. I don’t yet like boys but I even think it ’s every adult’s work to protect them. ”
Maher also argued that children should be spared from culture wars and dehumanization. During the HBO host’s diatribe against “woke” worldview, he went so far as to state that Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis “was n’t wrong ” when he called out Disney for sexualizing children, and that liberals were willing to “overlook ” it because it was a Republican who spoke out.
According to The New York Post, DeSantis passed the Parental Rights in Education bill in 2022, which stated that a school district should never engage in classroom discussion about sexual orientation or gender identity in primary level settings or in a way that is neither a student’s age-appropriate nor intellectually correct. ”
According to Maher, he mentioned the documentary “Quiet on Set: The dark side of kids TV ” and pointed out that Nickelodeon is n’t all that different from Disney, citing a report that revealed that several Mouse House employees were also being detained for sex crimes committed against children.
At least 35 Disney employees were detained for sexual offences against children, according to a 2014 CNN record. And in 2021, Disney baby star Alyson Stoner confessed she just barely survived the toddler-to-trainwreck network. The next year, baby star Cole Sprouse told The New York Times that young Disney Channel stars were subjected to extensive sexual abuse from an early age, ” he claimed.
According to Maher, Brian Peck, the speech coach who sexually abused Drake Bell, was imprisoned for 16 times and later hired by Disney to create a children’s line.
“ Oh, for psychopaths in Hollywood. It’s a little universe, after all, ” the actor deadpanned. “DeSantis was n’t bad! However, because we are now so cultural, the left will ignore child-f-ing when the wrong party member makes a claim. ”
“I’ve said it before, wokeness is not an expansion of democracy again. It’s more frequently taking everything so far that it becomes the reverse, ” he said.
Maher continued: “Teaching children not to love or judge those who are unique. Great! … But at a certain point, addition becomes development. And contrary to existing liberal ideology, children aren’t small people wise beyond their years, they’re morons. ”
