
A Chinese tourists was killed when he attempted to take a picture of the crater’s lips by crashing into an active volcano in Indonesia.
Huang Lihong, 31, was sightseeing with her father in Banyuwangi at the Ijen Crater, known for its beautiful “blue fire, ” on Saturday when the tragic incident occurred, the Straits Times reported.
The couple’s tour guide said he warned them about keeping a healthy range from the volcano’s entry, which Huang listened to at first.
The lady began moving closer to the edge to “a more wonderful backdrop” in order to get the South Eastern news outlet.
Before falling almost 250 feet over the side of the cliff and into the crater, Huang appeared to vacation on her long garments as she turned the corner.
The death was confirmed by regional authorities on Sunday, and it was ruled an accident.
Huang’s body was taken after more than two hours, and images from the Daily Mail show rescuers lifting her dead remains onto a bed.
The active volcano, one of more than 100 that exist across Indonesia, is a popular tourist location as well as a mining site for bright carbon.
The blog is accessible to the public and often features guided tours and excursions while the crate is effective and “regularly ” expels gases and lights.
