Matthew Colangelo, an ex-Biden Justice Department standard, delivered the prosecution’s starting statement on Monday in the Trump legal trial.
Democrat New York County District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s office just hired Colangelo, a former top DOJ standard, who spent times targeting Trump at his earlier career, the Washington Examiner reported:
Bragg did not hire Colangelo for his white-collar legal knowledge, which was lacking at the time he joined Bragg’s business. Instead, Bragg valued Colangelo’s “broad information ” of the Trump Organization, according to a New York Times report published at the end of 2022, which was the same day Bragg was attempting to intensify his legal battles against Trump.
Colangelo worked for Attorney General Letitia James before bringing a sizable civil complaint against Trump and the Trump Organization in the fall of 2022. Prior to his most new stay at the DOJ, Colangelo worked for Attorney General Letitia James.
